Very handy app! Read all you want!

Its very interesting

Basically, for a small monthly fee you have access to a large number of interesting books which are not available on other subscription services. The service is multilingual, and includes travel guides, automotive histories, fiction and nonfiction in great variety. If you know Russian, the service is especially good, but if you dont read Russian (or other languages other than English) there are still a vast number of books which will satisfy almost anyone. I have Amazon Prime, but this service has an awful lot that is not found on that service, and which I enjoy. Overall, highly recommended if you are a reader looking for new books. For example, I was able to find a Robert B. Parker novel, a history of the Mazda automobile, and a tour guide to Vietnam Laos & Cambodia, not the the sort of things that you would expect on a subscription service. If youre really into books I would recommend the premium service, since the variety there is great.

I found the book availability to be poor and the search engine difficult to find good books. Too bad they did not offer a trial period. I would not have subscribed and wasted my money.

app crashes on IOS7

I love this App, Ive found many books I was interested in reading. The latest update now synchronize between devices almost immediately. I cancelled my Scribd subscription and Im more than happy with Bookmate.

The app is awesome will hundreds of new titles. Its good enough for me to have recommended it to a few friends, but I would like to see a built in dictionary, maybe even save the words that you look up. I would also like to be able to know how many pages are left in a chapter, and an easier way to sync between devices.

Dont waste your money there selection is pathetic

This is a very nice app that is easy to use, but there arent very many books. I was disappointed with the limited number of titles available. I do however believe that as they add more and more titles to their collection, this is going to be a very good app to use. I will continuously check to see how things are progressing. I foresee great things if they can remain in business and add more books!

I loved and subscribed to Oyster while it existed, and I was hoping that this would be a good replacement. Its not. The books available are few, with most being public domain or questionable in some way. Many books on shelves are marked "private." There are some modern titles available for a premium subscription, which might tempt me, except that the app is terrible to use. The search feature isnt too helpful, and I couldnt find a good way to browse by genre. I did browse others shelves, but again, ran into lots of private or premium books. Improve the app and I might become a subscriber, as the subscription price is very fair, but until then, this app is pretty worthless.
